The Roy Braybrooke Award is voted for by the main-show cast, and for 2019 it went to costume designer Liz Milway for her amazing work on the wardrobe of Evita. The quality of her designs and outfits was remarked on by many in the audience, and all done on a challenging budget!

The Tom Farrell Award. Voted for by the committee and any member of the society is eligible, given to someone whose positivity, spirit and good nature has contributed to the society during the year. The 2018 winner was Mike Webster. ‘Cats’ was Mike’s first show with Festival Players and he threw himself into all aspects of cast-life both onstage and off. He was a great supporter of all the social events and really helped to foster that treasured sense of cast-as-family that brings a show together and makes it so enjoyable for all concerned.  A deserving winner in the true spirit of the award.
