Do you or someone you know have the fabulosity to take on the leading role of Lola/Simon in our upcoming production!?
Festival Players Cambridge seeks a black, male, triple-threat to play “Lola/Simon from Clacton” in their amateur production of Kinky Boots at the ADC Theatre Cambridge (3rd-12th June 2021). The character brief in the lib describes Lola/Simon as “a prize fighter’s physique draped in satin” and “a heterosexual cross-dresser with a killer voice and winning ways.”
Playing age 30-40 years. In good physical condition. Soul-style voice to sing club and ballad-style numbers, vocal range baritone/tenor.
