Lucky Stiff is a musical farce with book and lyrics from Lynn Ahrens and music from Stephen Flaherty. It tells the story of Harry Witherspoon, a shoe salesman who must take his long-lost uncle on the holiday of a lifetime to Monte Carlo in order to inherit his wealth, or the inheritance will go to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn. The only problem being that Uncle Tony is already dead…
Mr Witherspoon takes (the body of) his uncle to museums, skydiving, scuba diving, and more, but he doesn’t know that he’s not the only person searching for the money.
