This year’s winner of The Tommy Thomas Award for outstanding musical contribution to the main show ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ was chosen by co-MDs Joe Griffiths and Sam Kirby, who selected Kathryn Salmond as the worthy recipient, for her commitment and fantastic attitude as a member of the team.
The Roy Braybrooke Award, which is voted for by the cast to recognise an important contribution to the show, was awarded to Vikki Jones for her strength, leadership, and her incredible performance.
The Tom Farrell Award is voted for by the outgoing Festival Players committee and any member of the society is eligible, given to someone whose positivity, spirit and good nature has contributed to the society during the year. The 2025 recipient was Nick Hall, whose ever-willing commitment to excellence and generous attitude to sharing his skills and knowledge fully encapsulated the spirit of the award.
