Book your slot now for An Evening with Festival Players

An Evening with Festival Players
This year’s event will take place on Saturday 27 February at Cambridge University Press in the Hospitality Dining Room (where the recent Legally Blonde auditions and last year’s AGM were held).

For those new to the event, it’s a chance to ‘do a turn’ in front of a warm appreciative audience of fellow members – a song, a monologue, a sketch, a poem – whatever you feel like doing!

So, now is the time to confirm your participation. We have two accompanists lined up, but if you’d like to arrange your own, that’s fine too.

If you wish to perform, please email Michael Husband and let him know what you’re doing, who with (if appropriate), and whether you need a pianist. There will be optional rehearsals on both Friday evening (26th) and Saturday afternoon (27th), depending on which pianist you’re paired with. With that in mind, please let Michael know whether you are unavailable for either of those, as that will help him choose the most appropriate pianist for you.

If you just wish to come along and enjoy the evening as a supporter rather than a performer, please also let Michael know. There will be an ‘on the door’ charge (tbc) for all.

Finally, it’s a ‘bring a sharing dish’ event – so whether performer or supporter, please liaise with Michael on what you’ll bring with you.
